New Song "Maui Rain" – My Tribute to Lahaina 🌷🌧️
Updated: Aug 8, 2024
Aloha everyone, here is my new song “Maui Rain”. 🌷🌧️🌈
I wrote this song as a deeply personal tribute to the town of Lāhainā- the beautiful historic town where I spent years of my life living, working, surfing, galavanting and playing music in. I wrote this song during the period of mourning and healing following the devastating fires one year ago. ❤️🩹 It navigates the depths of grief while also finding comfort in the memories we all hold dear of the special place. I also am celebrating the enduring spirit of the people of Lāhainā, and all that we lost that day/night.
Lahaina was the place I embarked on my musical journey like 15+ years ago. I worked at a cafe on Front Street (Livewire) where I played my first ever gig, singing and jamming with my acoustic guitar at the age of 19, and made a million other memories before and after that era.
I recorded Maui Rain at RSP Studios in Hilo produced with the talented award winning @ryanhiraokamusic.
I wrote the song at my home here in Kona, watching the videos on social media, crying my way through the whole process.
I found myself singing the lyrics to another song of mine off my ‘For Love’ album that my dear friend Jacob Hemphill of @sojagram wrote years ago. The last few lines of “It’s Not the Same”, although written for a different kind of loss, made beautiful sense in this song. So you’ll hear that as my outro verse to Maui Rain.
“You can’t change the time of the falling rain
It comes and it goes, are you listening?
We can change our minds but our hearts remain
It’s beautiful… but not today”
“Maui Rain” stands as a testament to my own personal experiences of the losses in my life lately, but staying strong with the memories that will never go away.
With this song, I offer a beautiful reminder of the healing power of music and the resilience of the human spirit, especially the people of Lahaina.Hope that Maui Rain can bring you comfort during this one year mark of that devastating day, and forever comfort you in times of grief. You gotta know, you’re not alone. ❤️

Access to scholarship information is an important part of planning a successful educational journey. Students should take time to understand the NSP OTR registration financial assistance schemes available to them and check whether they meet the required conditions. Preparing academic records, income certificates, and identity documents in advance can simplify the application process. Applicants should also pay attention to submission deadlines and official announcements. Staying organized and checking every detail carefully can help students avoid common mistakes while exploring opportunities to support their education.
Hello, everyone! Music can be a meaningful way to express memories and emotions, especially when a song pays tribute to a place and the people connected to it. I think creative work like this gives listeners a chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate the stories behind the music. When I want something lighter to do in my free time, I enjoy playing Adopt Me and working toward small collecting goals. I usually decide which pets I want before exploring different offers, rather than getting distracted by every new option. I came across best place to buy adopt me pets, a marketplace page for virtual pets, currency, and other in-game items. I would compare listings and check prices and transaction conditions…
جلب الحبيب

Después de cada sorteo, comprobar un resultado loteria puede ser una tarea muy sencilla si los datos aparecen bien estructurados. Una presentación clara permite identificar la fecha, revisar los números y comparar la información sin tener que buscar entre contenido que no está relacionado.
Writing a tribute to a town a year after the fires and naming the surfing and the music keeps it from becoming generic. Keeping the video references together is what Reference to Video does.
